but it's Randolph Madlem's transcription of a story about hopping grass-eating rabbits that breaks my heart

all to the good in my opinion as he seems all more empathetic without them

and he'd spent a good bit of time trying to figure it out

He seems to have primarily painted landscapes, much in keeping with this one, which I'd guess dates to the 1920s. I
