Ancient Multi-Color Glass Beads, Afghanistan Necklaces hand-tooled antique bead from the17" strand of ancient multi color glass beads from Afghanistan. Created over 2,000 years ago during the Roman Period, these Afghan beads are a mixture of purple, and oranges, a mix of shapes, beautifully graduated. Size ranges from 3mm diameter 7mm diameter. Fairly fragile beads, and so so rare!! These were traded along the Silk Road in ancient times, a treasure!
